Happy National Chocolate Day!

Happy National Chocolate Day!

There really is a day for everything, but we are happy to celebrate this one as it’s a chance to celebrate our chocolate milk. World Chocolate Day is celebrated on the 7th July and we are ready!

We launched our chocolate oat milk last summer and it’s been a huge success with our customers, some have even set up a chocolate milk subscription, yum!

Our chocolate oat milk is made with our nutritious oat milk, fortified with vitamins and minerals including calcium and then blended with fair trade cocoa. We keep our recipes simple and full of natural ingredients, so you’ll find no artificial flavourings and very little sugar. In fact, our chocolate oat drink contains only 3.1g of sugar and most of that is naturally occurring!

So not only is it delicious served chilled on a warm summers day or served hot on a chilly winters day, but our chocolate oat milk is also perfect for using in recipes, here’s some of our favourites!

- Check out this banana, oat and peanut butter smoothie recipe by Bosh tv, we had a go at making it on our Instagram last September and it was so delicious and filling. https://www.bosh.tv/recipes/choconana-protein-shake

- Or for a more indulgent sweet treat why not try this chocolate pudding recipe from the New York Times, https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1020415-oat-milk-chocolate-pudding

Or for a healthy breakfast option, check out this recipe for chocolate baked oats from the Veganuary website. The recipe says to blend the mixture to get a more smooth cake like texture but that’s optional, we’ve tried it both ways and both are delicious! https://veganuary.com/recipes/vegan-baked-blender-choc-oats/

We often share new recipes and suggestions for how to enjoy our oat milks on our Instagram so make sure to follow us for more chocolate milk ideas!
